MORE is proud to be able to offer a diverse and varied selection of programs to serve the needs of adults with disabilities.

Community Access Program

CAP is our Adult Development Center, providing a 1:4 staff to client ratio.  Activities include basic living skills, social activities, vocational training, banking, survival reading, food service and other basic skills.  The focus is on integration into the community, and much time is spent on outings to museums, cultural festivals, the theater, shopping, banking, volunteering and other community based activities.

Creative Arts

Students receive instruction in singing, music, painting, photography, drama, and much more.  Their work is displayed in The Something MORE Art Gallery and they perform in several presentations throughout the year.

The people we serve are being transformed, as they discover their hidden talents and skills.  They are students of creative arts classes on their way to becoming artists, musicians, painters or sculptors.

Work Activity Program

As its name implies, the focus here is on work and vocational training.  We provide training in sorting, collating, assembly, packaging, grounds keeping, contract work, and document destruction.

Prevocational Program

Our Prevocational Program works hand in hand with our Work Activity Program to provide training in social skills, job readiness, food service, DMV testing, public transportation training, and many other valuable skills.  Clients have a chance to go out in the community to do their banking, shopping and plan luncheon engagements with their peers.

Personal Vocational Social Adjustment Services

This is a very specialized, time limited program which addresses any barriers a person might have to community employment.  Students receive one on one instruction and counseling to help them assimilate into the community.

Supported Employment Program

This program provides a job coach to accompany the person to the job site and train them to do their job efficiently at no cost to the employer. Employers hiring our clients receive government credits for doing so.  As job skills are learned and proficiency increases, the job coach begins to fade away, leaving the client to do his job independently.

Pathways Residential Home

Pathways is home to 12 adults with disabilities on their way to independent living in the community.  Clients learn how to cook and keep their apartment clean, how to shop, important social skills, grooming and hygiene, and many other valuable independent living skills.  Curriculum includes outings in the community as well as shopping and banking independently, use of public transit, and taking care of medical and business appointments.
