Stand Up for MORE 2022

Back by popular demand! The 6th Annual Stand Up For MORE will be held on Friday, April 1st at the El Dorado County Fairgrounds. We are so excited to be able to showcase terrifically talented top-notch acts benefiting MORE and the El Dorado County Chamber of Commerce!    

The Producer and MC of this Comedy Night is Scott Edwards. Scott is the man who brought comedy to Northern California in 1980, owned Laughs Unlimited for over 20 years, and worked with the best – Jay Leno, Dana Carvey, Jerry Seinfeld, and many more.   

Headlining for this evening will be the hilarious Kermet Apio, a longtime Headliner who has toured nationally and gained worldwide recognition after winning the Great American Comedy Festival in 2009. Kermet has performed everywhere from television to cruise ships, from comedy clubs to festivals all over the world. Refraining from off-color humor, Kermet instead relies on observational comedy, sarcasm, and satire for a performance that should not be missed!   

We are excited to also feature, direct from television and the biggest showrooms in Las Vegas, Lake Tahoe and Reno, the hilarious Emmy nominated Comedy Magician of the Year, Larry Wilson. If these two talented comedians were not enough, we will also feature the hilarious and very talented comedy writer Jim Ferrell to get the show going!

In addition to the wonderful entertainment, the night will also include a delicious catered meal, a raffle and live auction.
